as Homer started to eat the Novelith they fired it at an enemy planet. it was found that with this combination the planet no longer gets destroys the planet. but the inhabitants sure wish it had.

the only bad part of it is that every time they shoot they lose a bit more of the barrel of the gun

Wouldn't the Homer cannon count as biological warfare? I'm not sure I can approve of biological or chemical weapons.
