the problem with preconception

i am not sure that this belongs here. but so what.

i am currently watching the move "the note". the preconception of the movie is that a father wrote a note to his child. when he realizes that the plane he is on is going to crash.

but i believe i have already seen the plot twist. and dad wrote the note to his child who was on the plane. this does not take away from the movie.

i will tell you after the movie if i was wrong and i will probable eat crow.

i was wrong but it still proves the problem with preconceptions.

i don't know if any of you watched this Christmas movie.

and yes i know it was just a movie.

but the note touched the lives of everyone who came in contact with it, who was open to be touched by it.

so go ahead now and let me have it for not having my facts before beginning this thread.

at the end of the movie the reporter/columnist finds the girl the note was meant for. and at the same time found the baby who was taken from her because she tried to kill herself.

the girl's father before getting on the plane said that he would help her find her father. i guess he did.

How about we just let you have it for ruining the movie for anyone else who may have wanted to watch it without knowing the ending?
