but what would you eat if all food was free.

me i would probable eat what i eat now just more of it.

If food was truly free - and I mean free of any ethical dilemas as well as fiscal restraints - I'd eat tonnes of foie gras, cheese, amazing steak, sashimi... I could go on.

However, if I had free reign but only one meal to have, it would always be laksa.
