you have to be willing to get back up one more time than the other guy is willing or able to knock you down.


during world war one there was an American battalion cut off running out of supplies. The Germans attacked them at least six times. the last time the Americans only had knifes to fight with. the Germans sent in a ranger unit armed with flame throwers. the Americans sent the Germans packing.(i am sure some of that is fictional since i got it from a movie)


during world war two the 101ST airborne was cut off during the battle of the bulge.
the town they were in(i forget the name) was one of those that the Germans had to take because it controlled a number of roads. cut off, out of supplies in the middle of winter. The Germans issue the ultimatum surrender or die. The commanding officer said,"nuts."


now gene and the democrats are throwing a fit because Americans are dieing in a war. a war to do the same thing that world war two did stop a dictator from controlling to much power. take a man out who was doing human experiments and allowing people to starve to death so he could stay comfortable. and sent out death squads to control the people. Who was also trying to commit genocide on one group of people in his country.

we shouldn't have invaded Iraq because they didn't pose a threat to us. So we are supposed to sit on our hands until the day after they do become a threat to us. how would we know when he became a threat simple one of our cities would be missing.
