Why nose? could be using pencil in teeth, feet, taped to elbows ... i dunno mebe you could even type with a pencil sticking out your asse!! (if you had a mirror).

yea and i guess you could have a pencil up your nose too

but he did say he was blindfolded which means you need to feel the keys to type
